Draped bust of Bahram V to right, wearing elaborate crown; to left and right, ‘mzdysn bgy l’mštl – wlhl’n MLKAn M[LKA]’ = ‘mazdēsn bay rāmšahr Wahrām šāhān šāh’ (‘The Mazda-worshipping Lord with a peaceful realm, Bahram, King of Kings’ in Pahlavi). Rev. Fire altar with ribbons, flanked by two attendants; to right and left, ‘ʾtwly – wlhl’n’ = ‘ādur [ī] Wahrām’ (‘Fire of Bahram’ in Pahlavi); to the left of fire, ‘AS’ (abbreviation for the name of the mint in Pahlavi); ‘lʾst’ = ‘rāst’ (‘true’ in Pahlavi) on the altar shaft.
